What to know before you go

By purchasing a ticket you agree to comply with all event guidelines.

Event guidelines will be updated as circumstances and requirements change in our community. Please check back for updated information and be sure to review before attending a show.

All attendees and guests are required to comply with health and safety laws, orders, ordinances, regulations and health and safety guidance adopted by the State of Michigan, the County of Washtenaw and the event organizers -including any face mask and social distancing guidelines in place at the time of the shows. Attendees who do not comply will be asked to leave.

Designated seating areas for groups attending together are defined as “pods.” Tickets for pods must be purchased together at the same time in one single transaction to ensure seating together.

Before you leave home

A health screening questionnaire will be  emailed to you prior to the event. Please share the screening with your guests.  Only attend if you answer NO to all of the questions and are feeling healthy on the day of the event.

Pack chairs, blankets, refreshments  (NO alcohol).  Masks are welcome but not required.

Check for electronic updates if there is potential inclement weather.

Gates open one hour before showtime.

When you arrive

Day-of health screening will be made available to you via email and on site

Have your electronic ticket ready to be scanned by event staff

Event staff will direct you to the available seating pods for your ticket level

While you’re at the park

Any face mask requirements as determined by state, local or event organizer guidelines will be posted and enforced

At this time, face masks are welcome but are not required for outdoor events.

Eating and drinking are restricted to within your pod in the concert seating area.

You may visit with others who are not members of your pod when outside of the concert seating area. When in the concert seating area, please remain in your pod.

Patrons are responsible for their own trash and recycling, and bins will be available on site for disposal.

Patrons must exit the concert park as soon as the concert has ended.

Umbrellas, tents and other overhead equipment are prohibited in the concert park.

  • limited capacity crowd of 300 patrons
  • social distancing between pods
  • pre-event health screening checklist for audience and staff members
  • PPE available including hand sanitizer
  • trained event staff enforcing rules and directing audience to/from seating areas

FOR THE COMFORT AND SAFETY OF ALL EVENT PATRONS WE ASK THAT YOU RESPECT THE FOLLOWING RULES:

  • No riding or using bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or scooters inside the concert park
  • No smoking inside the concert park
  • No outside solicitations or unauthorized vending inside the concert park
  • No dogs or other pets allowed except for personal assistance dogs
  • Shirts and shoes required

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I buy a ticket at the gate to the event?

No. All tickets must be purchased online before showtime either at theark.org or at a2sf.org.

What time do gates open?

Gates open one hour before showtime.

How many people can be in my pod?

No more than six (6) people may sit in a pod.

Can I visit with people in pods that I know?

No. Unless traveling to the concession area, bathroom, entry/exit, all patrons must remain in their assigned pods and leave aisleways clear.

What if I am attending alone?

You will be assigned your own pod.

Will there be assigned seating?

Seating will be first come, first served within your ticket price level, with the highest priced ticket tier located closest to the stage.

Will seating be arranged to accommodate social distancing between groups?

Yes. Seating pods will be 6 feet apart from each other.

Can I visit with people that I know in other pods?

You may visit with others not who are not members of your pod when outside of the concert seating area. When in the concert seating area, please stay in your pod to maintain social distance.

What do I need to bring?

A camping chair to sit on, sun protection (sunglasses, hat, and/or sunscreen), bug protection.

What should I not bring?

Please be mindful of the sightlines of your fellow audience members. Umbrellas and shade canopies are not permitted.

Will there be food and drink available?

There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, however, outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to patronize the onsite beverage vendor available to you at the concerts.

Will there be restrooms available?

Yes. There’s a public restroom accessible from the side of the Fuller Park Pool building. There will also be ADA-accessible portable toilets located on the field near the seating area.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available in walking distance from the concert site.

Handicap accessible parking is available in lot M-78 adjacent to Fuller Pool. (map)  For more information about handicap access, please email info@a2sf.org

Primary parking for concert-goers is lot M-71 (map) located on the south side of Fuller Road opposite Fuller Park.

Additional overflow parking may be available in other nearby lots, including at Island Park. (map)

Do I need to complete a health screening to attend the concert?

All patrons need to review the pre-event health screening that will be sent through email before attending the event. The terms and conditions for all ticket purchases include the patron’s agreement to not attend the event if you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, have tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days, have been exposed to anyone who is known to have tested positive COVID-19, or if you’ve been advised to quarantine.

What if I buy tickets in advance but the event is canceled due to rain?

These special concert fundraisers will be produced rain or shine. Should the outdoor, in-person version need to be canceled in advance due to weather, the concerts will be streamed live from The Ark at the published show time and an exclusive livestream link will be provided to ticket buyers.

Can I exit the gates and reenter during the event?

No.

Do I have to wear a mask if I have been vaccinated?

At this time masks are welcome but not required at outside events.

Can I attend if I’m not vaccinated?

You may attend the event if you are not vaccinated AND answer NO to all of the health screening questions. MDHHS does not require masks for unvaccinated patrons at outdoor events but strongly recommends them.
