Wednesday, June 20 at 9:30 PM

Please note there has been a schedule change to the presentation of eVenti Verticali’s Wanted and there will no longer be an early-evening showing. The two remaining performances will take place at 9:30 pm on both Tuesday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 20. We look forward to seeing you there.

Aerial theater combines with video projections on a giant outdoor screen and concocts a mind-bending visual comedy extravaganza for all ages. Suspended in a world of animation, two Italian brothers play “cops and robbers” by hanging from ropes and harnesses against a vertical stage. Blending 2-D and 3-D, the brothers adventure through an animated world of crazy desktops, vintage video games, and breathtaking landscapes. Constantly on the run, they cross the globe, scale high buildings, jump on roofs, and dive into oceans. Wanted has played 150 times in ten European countries, Russia, South Korea, and Taiwan. The whole family won’t want to miss the spectacular vertical dance of this world-renowned Italian company!

eVenti Verticali is a self-described sports association aiming to promote an unusual type of theatre to be performed on vertical and aerial stages. The idea of working on vertical surfaces came up in 2003 while Andrea and Luca Piallini performed a rope descent from a window during a show in Gdansk. The two artists—a brother trained in dance and and one in circus—founded their company in 2006 and have developed vertical theatre shows with video artists and animators as eVenti Verticali in twenty different countries.

This event was made possible with the support of the The A2SF Imagination Fund Families.
