The Annex: Y-Fi
Wednesday, July 3 @ 5:30pm
The social art movement Y-Fi (short for Ypsi Fidelity) is borne on the talents of Ypsilanti Community High School student artists, going out into public spaces to create spontaneous and scripted art happenings. Clad in neon, you can’t miss their electric presence as you engage in silly, physical activity based on random choices and watching others as you follow, or don’t follow, directions. Grove Studios provides the background beat to jive to during this all-ages, all-capabilities happening. Y-Fi is made possible by the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation in partnership with Eastern Michigan University Bright Futures.
