Genre: Hip-Hop, Rap

An accomplished music producer and audio engineer, Rod Wallace has released four solo albums and produced or mixed on dozens of other projects. Wallace also served as an executive producer for the critically acclaimed Formula 734 hip-hop documentary for men of color in conjunction with Washtenaw County My Brother’s Keeper, and co-founded the Amplify Project, which exchanges recording and production support for support to community organizations. As an educational researcher who constructs music-making experiences and programs that unite communities around creativity, Wallace completed his Ph.D from EMU in 2023 studying urban education, hip-hop as pedagogy, and the use of music technology to enrich STEM content and academic resilience. Wallace combines old school beats with intriguing samples to tell stories while expressing his creativity. Come experience the live show and discover the friends who will join him on stage at A2SF this summer!
