Retreat (Virtual): Yoga for Strength & Resilience

Always wanted to try a little yoga? Grab a mat or a beach towel, stretch and strengthen your immunity…and your muscles! A fun, Vinyasa-style flow intended to strengthen your core and your immune system. Participants will move around the mat with some basic yoga, adding options for more challenging poses. This class is suited to all levels, and modifications will be given. You will learn about your body, all while having a fun and enjoyable experience!

The class will be enhanced with a playlist including a local Ann Arbor composer, and a bit of World Music.

Class is taught by Marty Betts, RYT 200 Certified Yoga Instructor, NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Marty has been teaching yoga for over nine years, and considers it an honor to share this wonderful practice.

A series of mind-body sessions, this alternative happy hour lets you enjoy a relaxing late afternoon workout with classes in yoga, world dance, barre, capoeira, meditation, and more.

Sessions will be broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday sessions can also be found on CTN public access television (channel 17 for Comcast).
