Orquesta Tradición

Saturday, June 18 at 8:30pm

A traditional Latin orchestra joins A2SF this summer for a joyful night of salsa, reggaetón, hot Latin rhythms, Caribbean sounds, and plenty of dancing. Formed in 2007 in Grand Rapids by the Rosario family, this proud Puerto Rican ensemble is built on the strength of multi-talented musicianship and the power of ancestral and cultural bonds. Festival favorites and a frequent opening act for the biggest salsa acts coming through Michigan, Orquestra Tradición brings dynamism to their blend of contemporary sounds and old-school tropical tunes. Performing styles from salsa, bachata, and bolero to Afro-Cuban and Latin jazz, this set promises to be a celebration of the Spanish language and Latin culture that is sure to get everyone grooving!
