Learning Center (Virtual): Recycling at the Curb in Ann Arbor

Friday, June 19 @ 6pm

NOTE: This is a virtual, streamed event.

Join the Sierra Club Huron Valley Group as they explore questions regarding recycling and composting such as:

  • What can and can’t be recycled?
  • How do I need to prepare recyclables?
  • Do my recyclables even get recycled?
  • What about my compost curb cart?

All these questions and more will be answered in an informative and fun format in the Huron Valley Group’s presentation.

The Sierra Club is America’s oldest and largest environmental group, founded by John Muir in 1892, now with over 3,000,000 members. Our motto is “Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the Earth”.

Change can only occur with strong education and great community partners. The Festival Footprint Learning Center will offer engaging activities to empower the community to integrate the Festival Footprint ideas into their daily lives.

The Festival Footprint Learning Center is sponsored by Toyota as part of our zero waste initiative.

Sessions will be broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday sessions can also be found on CTN public access television (channel 17 for Comcast).

You can also stream it online here.
