Kidzone (Virtual): Rainbow Face Painting Tutorial

Join Clonlara School grads and sisters Marie and Magalie from Germany as they walk you through the steps of a creating a beautiful face painting design! With a simple list of supplies, they will share how to transform a face into a rainbow by blending colors and adding fine details with brushes and glitter. Don’t forget the glitter!

Clonlara is a vibrant global learning community with K–12 students in Ann Arbor and around the world. We hope this activity will inspire young artists everywhere and brighten up your summer days!

Materials needed:

  • Water-based face or body paints (yellow, red, blue, white)
  • Black eyeliner
  • Glitter
  • Paint brushes
  • Vaseline/petroleum jelly, sponge, glass of water

From learning karate, building a lava lamp, or creating plant art, KidZone offers different nightly activities for families.

Sessions will be broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday sessions can also be found on CTN public access television (channel 17 for Comcast).
