Kidzone (Virtual): DIY Macramé Wall Hangings

Tuesday, June 16 @ 4pm

NOTE: This is a virtual, streamed event.

Join Catholic Social Services’ (CSS) Grandparents as Parents staff by making kid-friendly DIY macramé wall hangings. It’s an easy and fun project for the whole family!

Materials you need:

  • Metal hoop, any size you like (or a 12″ stick from outside if you prefer a more rustic look!)
  • Colorful Yarn or Macrame cord
  • Large Beads (optional)

Grandparents as Parents (GAP) provides community support and resources for grandparents and other kinship caregivers who are providing stability for their grandchildren, or another relative, under the age of 18 years.

From learning karate, building a lava lamp, or creating plant art, KidZone offers different nightly activities for families.

Sessions will be broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday sessions can also be found on CTN public access television (channel 17 for Comcast).

You can also stream it online here.

KidZone is presented with generous support from C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is among the nation’s best children’s hospitals in all ten categories evaluated by U.S. News and World Report. C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital was the only hospital in Michigan ranked in all ten specialties.
