A2SF welcomes Formula734, an intergenerational collective of Black and Brown hip-hop artists and musicians. Created in partnership with Washtenaw My Brother’s Keeper and the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, Formula734 offers a space for the artists to speak freely as they create music together, sharing their views, goals, fears, experiences of life, thoughts on manhood, and everything else that’s on their minds. To date, Formula 734 has released two albums and one documentary film chronicling the creation of the first album. The music comes alive with compelling beats, thoughtful lyrics, and deep grooves, contemporary introspection paired with an old-school vibe.
