The Fabulous Fleischer Cartoons, Restored

Sunday, June 16 at 3:30PM | Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre
Join us for a screening of restored silent Fleischer Cartoons and more silent classic cartoons with an accompaniment by Stephen Warner, one of Michigan Theater’s in-house organists, on the piano at Mendelssohn. This hour-long screening is sure to be a treat for those reliving childhood memories or children discovering hand-drawn animations from early cinema, featuring classic characters such as Koko the Clown, Felix the Cat, Mutt and Jeff, early Terrytoons and more! Also featuring an introduction and discussion by film historian Ray Pointer.

Accompanied with live piano.
