Ann Arbor’s F.U.B.A.R. brings a delightful, energetic eclecticism to their interpretations of obscure pop rock songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. Exploring The British Invasion, psychedelic, soul, and folk rock, they’ll take you on a very fun stroll through old country. Enjoy vocalist Sophia Hanifi’s sensitive treatment of Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation” and Wanda Jackson’s “Let’s Have a Party.” Watch the nostalgia sweep over the crowd when covers like The Yardbird’s “Over Under Sideways Down,” The Parliaments’ “Testify,” Love’s “Alone Again Or,” and The Byrds’ “Girl With No Name” become the perfect soundtrack for a summer night at TOP. Featuring Andy Adamson on keyboards, Jim Carey on drums, Dave Cavender on harmonica and trumpet, Sophia Hanifi on vocals, Randy Tessier on guitar, and Kim French on bass.
