Wednesday, June 29 at 5pm | O&W Grove Stage

Led by guitarist Andrew Brown, the Ann Arbor-based jazz quartet Djangophonique is a virtuosic immersion in the jazz manouche style of the titular Django Reinhardt. With over a decade of national touring experience, Brown brings enigmatic charisma to every Djangophonique performance. On stage he is joined by bandmates that match his skill and passion for the material, resulting in a sound that’s unmistakable to fans of this jazz guitar style and alluring to the uninitiated. Whether bringing the lively energy of a Parisian dance hall to a quiet listening room or charming outdoor festival crowds as in their upcoming 90 minute A2SF performance in the Grove, Djangophonique offers shimmering ballads, a deep respect for the tradition, and fearless creativity that blends the conventions of the style to captivate modern audiences.

This event is free and takes place at Top of the Park located at 915 E. Washington, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Get directions and parking details here.
