Kidzone: Booksweet – Black Men Reading Room

Sunday, June 26 at 5pm

Pop by for a Black Men Read book party with Booksweet! In this Reading Rainbow-like experience, kids enjoy a story from the African diaspora, take a wiggle break, do a creative activity, and show ‘n tell with their friends. 

We’ll be diving into Julián Is a Mermaid by Jessica Love and I Am Perfectly Designed by Karomo Brown in celebration of Pride Month. Families can join for one of the three 45-minute sessions: 5-5:45 pm // 6-6:45 pm // 7-7:45 pm.
