The wildly popular Architects of Air mount a new monumental sculpture on Palmer Field inspired by the Bahá’í Lotus Temple of India. Bring the whole family to experience this visual wonder—a walk-through inflatable luminarium where visitors of all abilities can encounter light and color in their phenomenal beauty.
Miracoco is a glorious amalgam of engineering, technology, science, and art. The central dome features a spiral lattice of scintillating points of light on a field of iridescent hues. The outer domes explore the dodecahedron, using reinforced restraints to render a geometry that is more visible and precise.
From Hong Kong to Honolulu, Taipei to Tel Aviv, the enormous, interactive sculptures of the UK’s Architects of Air have astounded audiences across the globe. Designer Alan Parkinson has created an architectural marvel in which visitors are encouraged to wander, relax, meditate and enjoy the magical ambiance of Miracoco. Enter and be amazed!

How it works
Visitors remove their shoes before entering an airlock. Once inside they can wander freely or just lay back and enjoy the ambience of the structure. Participants are given ample time explore the luminarium. No two visits to a structure are alike as the atmosphere inside alters according to changing weather and changing light outside. The experience is also affected by how the public inhabits the luminarium. As such, it is appreciated by people of all ages from all backgrounds and abilities (wheelchair accessible). We encourage children and adults to enter together as children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Allowing a space where adults can have fun is vitally important too!
